Use the billing record and the subscription page to understand renewal status and cancellation.

01

Confirm the billing provider

Begin with the receipt. Some services are purchased through Apple, while others are billed on the developer’s website or by another provider. Apple’s cancellation guide covers Apple subscriptions and subscriptions bought through an App Store app. Use the account that made the purchase; a different Apple Account may show a different list.

02

Inspect the subscription

On iPhone or iPad, Apple’s guide directs you to Settings, your name and Subscriptions. Select the item you want to manage and inspect the available cancellation option. Follow the current on-screen instructions. If the item does not appear, use the receipt and Apple’s guidance for finding who is billing you.

03

Keep the final status

Our suggestion is to record the end date and retain the confirmation after any change. Deleting an app is not a useful way to verify billing status. If the service contains notes or other material you need, investigate its export options before access ends. That is a separate task from cancellation, and it can be easier to complete while the account is still active.

04

Plan before a trial finishes

Do not wait until the final moment to inspect renewal terms. Apple’s guide gives specific timing advice for trial cancellations; read the current instruction that applies to your offer. Cancellation and a refund request are different processes. This article helps you locate the controls, but does not promise a refund or a particular access period for every plan.
