Our research assessment: worth considering if you enjoy tuning a strategy against a predictable route and learning which placements complement one another.
- Tower and upgrade combinations
- Solo and cooperative play options
- Contains optional real-money purchases
- Edition and cloud-save details need checking
The planning problem
Ninja Kiwi’s official Steam listing describes tower defence with different towers, upgrades and game modes, including cooperative play. It also discloses in-game items sold for real money. A paid download therefore should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every optional item is included. The PC listing covers Windows and macOS.
Learn the route before chasing every upgrade
Our suggested first-session goal is to understand how the path, tower position and a small number of upgrade choices work together. Choose a manageable challenge and observe why the defence succeeds or fails. If you enjoy changing one part of a plan and comparing the result, this kind of strategy loop may fit well. If frequent unlocks and optional purchases distract you, check how comfortable you are with the menus before investing more time.
Separate the game from the account services
The store page links account and cloud-save functionality to additional terms. Read the current documentation before assuming progress will move between editions or platforms. Confirm the edition your friends use if cooperative play is the main attraction. We have not tested online matchmaking, cross-device saves or late-wave performance. Our assessment concerns the documented design and purchase model; the official listing remains the place to verify current requirements and optional content.
