Use three short notes
Our suggested demo journal records what you enjoyed, what confused you and what you would need to know before buying. Give the game enough attention to complete a meaningful interaction, but stop if it clearly is not a match. If you report a problem, include the game version and relevant device details without posting personal account information.
Separate a demo from a purchase
Investigate what the developer says about the full game rather than extrapolating the final length, stability or save behaviour from a short build. Do not assume demo progress transfers to release. A promising demo can justify following development without justifying a preorder.
