Our research assessment: worth investigating if you like watching a simple starting idea develop into a complicated survival build.
- Simple input concept with upgrade decisions
- Many ways to develop a run
- Busy screen effects may not suit everyone
- Mobile pricing and features are separate
Where the decisions live
The official PC listing describes a survival game with roguelite elements and a focus on lasting against growing numbers of enemies. Upgrades and combinations provide much of the variation. Windows and macOS are listed for this PC edition; other platforms and store editions need their own checks. Optional downloadable content should be evaluated separately from the base purchase.
Simple controls can still mean an intense screen
Our editorial concern is less about memorising a large control scheme and more about whether the visual density suits you. Inspect official gameplay footage for effect intensity, text readability and the amount of movement on screen. If those are comfortable, the appeal is experimenting with priorities and seeing a run take shape. If the screen feels exhausting, low purchase cost alone is not a good reason to choose it.
Try the basic loop before adding content
Start by learning how movement and upgrade choices interact. Avoid treating a long list of unlocks as a checklist that must be completed immediately. For the first session, understanding why a run ended is a useful outcome in itself. Check local pricing, system requirements and the exact edition at the official store. We have not tested frame rates in crowded scenes or evaluated accessibility options on a device, so those questions remain for hands-on play.
Go straight to the people who make it.
